I've been an insomniac for years and can't take OTCs because most of them give me restless leg syndrome, which keeps me up, and prescriptions may make me drowsy, but I don't stay asleep for very long at all. I've had some special incidences involving Ambien and hallucinations and all those bad stories you hear about. Unfortunately, I'm one of those people that the prescriptions don't work for and end up not sleeping but acting oddly and not remembering much of it.

The package suggest taking two about 30 minutes before sleep, but I have a high tolerance for most things, so I take 3 about 1 hour before sleep and that works for me. I actually get 8 hours of sleep and when I do wake up, it's very easy for me to fall back asleep, which is something I'm not used to.

The ingredients are all natural: melatonin, chamomile, valerian and willowbark. Which is something I really like because I like to know what it is that's going into my body. I'm hoping this continues to work for me, as I've only been taking it for a couple of weeks, as I'm really impressed with it so far.

As someone who suffers anxiety and lives in an anxiety producing environment (Bronx, New York), Lunasom has helped me cope. Yes, I use it to sleep, but I also use this to deal with the anxiety I get from the constant noise, music, you know, the trials and tribulations of city living.

When used as a sleep aid, it only relaxes you, and there is absolutely no next day hangover. I've brought this around five times and will continue to do so.

This product saved me from Ativan addiction. It does NOT contain HCI, (that crap in Sleepytime that makes you sick and trip out). You will wake up refreshed and not retarded with brain fog! This product helped me go cold turkey of the sedative "Ativan" which I was taking to sleep. Now, I take nothing to help me sleep thanks to this product! You can get it at Walgreens!

I wanted to let you all know that I tried LunaSom PM(tm) last night and here are my comments.

I have been a die hard Tylenol PM user for nights when I can't sleep. The only problem is that I can only take 1 tablet due to the side effects. Tylenol PM makes me very groggy, dopey, "hung over", completely out of it in the middle of the night, etc. I fear that if I take 2 tablets that I might not wake up in the night even if I needed to for an emergency, sick child, etc. Tylenol PM really knocks me out so much so that sometimes, my husband wonders if I'm still breathing.

So, last night I was tired, but not ready to fall asleep since we had an active evening and I was a little bit wired. I took 2 LunaSom PM(tm) capsules and after about 15 minutes, felt VERY relaxed - not sleepy, dopey, drugged, but very relaxed. Within another 15 minutes, I felt even more relaxed and sleepy. After about 30 minutes, I fell asleep. I slept the whole night through, woke up once coughing and was not "totally out of it" like Tylenol PM, but overall had a good night's rest. I woke up at 6:30 and felt great!!! That was the best part of the whole experience. I remembered my dreams (which were quite complex and detailed, some work related stuff which wasn't bad) and no "hangover" feeling AT ALL. I jumped out of bed and started the day. For those of you that don't know me real well, I'm NOT a morning person. SO, I'm not sure if it was the good night sleep, the LunaSom PM(tm), or just a beautiful day in Minnesota, but I had a very positive experience with LunaSom PM(tm).

This product works well but, for me, no better than melatonin alone; and melatonin, without the added ingredients of LunaSom is much cheaper.

I have been unable to reach anyone by telephone to CANCEL the automatic shipments and charges to my credit card. Be cautious in giving your credit card or debit card to purchase. They are quick to take your money but hard to reach after 1st shipment. Unhappy in New Mexico
