Tsukihime.,
By Milo Camalanee "Milo-lishes" (Missouri) - See all my reviews
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Lunar Legend Tsukihime Volume 1 (v. 1) (Paperback)
With the Manga's coming out the naime series and manga and videogame are starting to get well known. Tsukihime the mangas series is really good. It is deeper in the plot than the anime series.
A Vampire(a true ancestor) gets murdered by a ordinary boy. she makes him protect her because he made her weak. It turns ot the boy has eyes of death perception. He sees the lines of death, and by tracing them the item, or being is either severed or dies. They are looking for a master vampire who creates genocides. His name is Roa, and the vampire thinks shiki(Boy with the Magical eyes) is the vampire. Then the church gets involved and sends a girl named Ceil to find roa. She too thinks shiki is Roa. But the blame starts to shift from shiki to his sister when she starts showing magical powers. Who is the real roa? It's a cute gothic lovestory involving vampires. I recommend it to nearly everyone.

Better than the anime!,
This review is from: Lunar Legend Tsukihime Volume 1 (v. 1) (Paperback)
This book offer a much better view of the Tsukihime story than the anime. Not only does it retain the game's atmosphere, the book also amplify's it.
The graphics are clean and I find the character design to be trully interesting. The author was able to trully make us feel and understand the expressions of the characters. However, a small thing that could have been better is the removal of the original Japanese characters. I understand the translators left them there to prevent themselves from harming the graphics yet with the English translation next to them they simply feel out of place and the book would have gained a lot from simply redrawing those small spots. |
