More About the Author

Loribelle is like the South she calls home. Hot and sultry. Languid and sexy. Magnolias and gardenias scent her silk lined boudoir, and men and children alike bow to her magnificence...

Okay, maybe it isn't quite that glamorous. She does have two smart and lovely daughters who give her a run for her money and a son that will one day be someone's model of a romance hero. (She promises.) Her husband is a real life hero, and Loribelle just tries to keep up with the demands of military life. In between, she writes a book or two.

She's had every job under the sun, but haven't most writers? That Army military police, bookstore manager, waitress, wedding photographer, website designer experience has to come in useful sometimes. As they say in the South, it all washes out in the end.

Call of the Moon

Chloe is attending the annual Chief's meeting of werewolves. After the death of her mate, she got away from her home pack as quickly as she could and while, not exactly hiding, she hasn't gone out of her way to keep in touch either. Scared to death of coming in contact with Billy, the beta of her home pack, Chloe watches quietly but to no avail. She senses him before she sees him and knows it is only a matter of time before he claims her.

Billy has waited for years for Chloe. Knowing how she was treated with her prior mate, he vows to gain her trust and make her understand that mating is not a death sentence for a female wolf. Better said than done because Chloe is skittish and scared to death. She can't resist Billy but she can't commit either. He's up to the fight however and her heart is the only outcome.

May I say emphatically how much I adore Loribelle Hunt's writing? Eagerly anticipating Call of the Moon, I set in for a good read. What I got was so much more. I got a great story of love, honor and trust. Billy and Chloe's chemistry was breathtaking and his patience with her was heart pounding beautiful.

Loribelle Hunt has the ability to weave the reader into her stories the instant they begin reading. I can't begin to list the reasons why I love this author because it would take forever. Just know that Loribelle Hunt is astounding and I have loved every book of hers that I have read, Call of the Moon included. I look forward to each and every book she releases.

Chasing the Moon

Jackson has just taken over as Alpha of the pack that threw out his closest friends. Trust is difficult for Jackson, but he takes the advice of Trey and decides to be the kind of Alpha his pack needs. Now if he can just find the wolf threatening his position and contain the one woman he was meant to have above all others, Summer Lambert, his mate.

Summer Lambert has been avoiding Jackson for months because she isn't ready to settle down. Looking forward to an uninterrupted vacation of two weeks, Summer doesn't realize until it is too late that she is now the guest of the one Alpha werewolf that she was hoping against hope to avoid. Then, much to her consternation, Summer finds herself drawn into Jackson's world with less reluctance than she would have liked.

Summer and Jackson come together as mates and the result is a heat worthy of any sultry day. There is just one problem in their idyllic world, someone from Jackson's pack means to harm and possibly overthrow Jackson's position. Will Jackson and Summer be able to find out just who it is before it is too late?

May I state that I love Loribelle Hunt's wolves? I adore how she portrays them. They are manly, Alpha, and just downright too sexy for words, and Jackson is no different. Alpha to the core, I love how he shows his feelings for Summer and how he allows her to utilize her gifts without stifling her. Summer, while she was reluctant to admit that Jackson is her mate; she can't dismiss the fact that the thought of him not in her life causes her pain. Her wanting to protect him from harm was a wonderful touch, especially when Summer herself didn't realize it would happen. Chasing the Moon was the perfect read for me.

I can't get enough of Loribelle Hunt's novels! I love every aspect of her stories and find myself constantly perusing the coming soon pages. Her ability to draw me into her stories and stay there is why I continue to read books written by this so very talented writer.

It was a fairly good book but it didnt wow me like someother books I have purchased. The one thing that I did love about it was the fact that it was a Paranormal book and the fact that for the money I spent on it, it was a good thick book. I feel that it was worth the money, though it certainely wasn't my favorite. Overall it was a good paranormal read.
