This guide is really great, all the pages/maps etc. are full color and the writing provides the kind of wit you would expect from working designs, also the "retro check" sections on the old edition of lunar are interesting. The only problem with this guide is, as another reviewer mentions, that it is very fagile. If you are buying this guide today, you are probably forking over something like $40 for it as a collectable, so bear in mind that this guide has very tight binding and can be easily damaged if read. Many sellers advertise "Mint, only used once guides" that have bent spines, missing pages, etc. Always ask for pictures when buying collectable items if you care about that sort of thing, otherwise great guide!

This is a good item to have along with the game. The maps are helpful. It gives you tips on secret items and how to find all the bromides. Good bestiary and items/equipment lists. Walkthrough is thorough.

The strategy guide has the best content I've ever seen. But there's a serious problem: the binding. The pages fall out if you try to open the product all the way. I bought mine when the game was first released, and the strategy guide didn't last a year. The stickers in the back are cool!
