This is a great datebook/journal. It allows you space to write your schedule and is full of wonderful information and lovely illustrations.

This calendar is perfect for planning and recording events around the lunar cycle. It leaves plenty of room to write down your to do list and anything that comes up during the day with large icons for the day's moon phase. It even comes with instructions (lol) that are written in a manner that is clear, concise and memorable. This looks to be a page turner of a year! Even if time flies by me too fast, it's going to be fun and interesting to watch and record this year.

I have bought these for the last several years, they are much more useful to me than any of the other calendars I have purchased. I love to keep all my notes on day to day happenings in them, things like my appointments, engagements, and what the weather was like that day. I love knowing about all the phases of the moon and when it will rise and set-very useful!

I was looking for a planner with detailed moon cycles, quarter and cross quarter "holidays", eclipses, and a bit of pretty artwork or design to make it pleasing to open up and look at each day. This planner has it. I really like that the pages are matte, so the ink doesn't smear easily at all. I like the black and white and grey, and the there are just the right amount of images and poems. There is plenty of room for notes each day, and the spiral bound notebook allows for keeping it open to the day.
FOr the beginning moon cycle follower, or astrologer, this is a great way to learn a bit each day. Of course, it is a great planner for the seasoned astrologer or anyone who keeps track of the moon and sun cycles. The planner is in Mountain time so if you live elsewhere, like I do, you'll have to add or subtract an hour or two for the transit times. No big deal.
Overall, I really like it and I will likely buy this one next year...

I had to return this item because of damage during shipping; it came unwrapped and unsupported in a large box and was no longer in gift-giving condition, but that's not why I'm only giving it 3 stars. I did take a look at it before returning it and wasn't really that impressed. There really aren't that many pictures or writings in it, in part because there is a full blank page for each week. Personally, I like a smoother page for writing; these felt pretty rough. I like my pen to glide across the page! To each her own, though. There are a few nice pictures (black and white) but they are split by the wire binding, which I found disappointing. I would rather have seen the full picture on one page, or a different choice in pictures that would have good detail on one page. Ultimately, the same lunar features can be found in other calendars and journals with more of the features I like, including more artwork and poetry, articles, etc. Check out the We'Moon products - they are absolutely wonderful!
