I do not often take the time to review books, but I wanted to let other people my age, over 50, know that this book series is so good, and not just for young adults! Sharon Sala, Dinah McCall, writes great books. I am always thrilled when I see a new book by her, and I love her Lunatic Series. This is not to say that I don't still love her books for older readers, because I love her Romantic Suspense books, as well as the ones that are independently published. Some of her books are considered to be not as good as previous ones; however, I think that she is a great writer, and she can write about anything, and I would read it. This YA Lunatic series is so much fun to read. You know there is going to be something strange happening in every book, and I love the developing relationship between Tara and Flynn. I like the way that Ms. Sala is developing Tara's character, and showing her different is not bad. Everyone is different than someone else--we were not made using a "cookie cutter". I eagerly look forward to the next book in the series!

This series was written for teens, but I think it is just as relevant for adults (I'm well over 40). I enjoy them, and it will be interesting to see where she goes with it.

Lunatic revenge continues the story of Tara Luna and the people in her life, whether here in body or here only in spirit. Flynn's "Moon Girl" continues to be a reluctant hero, even while being stalked by the press and other undesireables. Tara strength and vulnerability appeals to both the young readers and those who are young at heart. This is a series that I would welcome for young adult readers. The characters are believable and live in the real world. But I'll let Tara tell her own story, since she will do a much better job than I ever could. Well done, Sharon Sala.

I enjoy Sharon Sala books. This one is no exception. It is a good read for the young and not so young.

I have read many of Sharon Sala's books and most are terrific, but "Lunatic Revenge" is predictable and the ending was a lure to buy the next book. However, that won't work for me because I don't care really. The characters were alright, but didn't make me care!!! Very disappointed!

This series has been fun to read. Even though it's geared toward the teen set, they're still good books for anyone.

This time around, Flynn is in big, big trouble. Some bad guys are after this big fortune that Flynn's dad hid away somewhere. Naturally, the bad guys come after Flynn, thinking that he knows where it is. So while this is going on, Tara is trying to help even though Flynn doesn't want it. Also, a tornado hit town and Tara uses her powers to help out in this disaster. Now, during all this, toward the halfway mark of the book, I honestly had no idea where the story was going! Yes, we have a couple of different things going on, like mini stories happening at once in the book (Tara helping with the disaster, Flynn and his father's fortune...), but what is the big picture here? What is the point of all this? Where the heck are things going?? It almost felt like there was no real beginning middle and end.

Oh, and two books later and we still don't know what this so called "darkness" is. Something really interesting did happen towards the end-ish of the book though... Tara and Flynn got into this accident and Flynn is badly hurt and, well, things. Spoiler-y things, so I wont say anything. But it was interesting. And even though I don't have high hopes for the last book in this series, given the track record of Lunatic Detective and this one, I will read it out of sheer curiosity and because I have to know what will happen with Flynn! Gah! Need to know!

This also was a good book and hard to put down. I enjoy Sharon Sala's books and have read quite a few.
