LUNATICWORKS HAS TAKEN OVER THE ASYLUM, June 12, 2003

if your a fan of ninja tunes, warp or any other headcandy label, then welcome to the asylum. the latest in the series from LUNATICWORKS is by far the best! from CORDOVAN's squelching, all consuming bassline, underpinned at various moments by piano flourishes and sonar sound effects. to the newest new age sound of yuppies gone broke from HORSE NOODLES "RUDY'S GOT THE NUMBER". as well as the galacti trip hop of HOMO ERECTUS's "SEAN'S ENDEAVOR" to the warm womb like comforting minimalism of CHACHI JONES "CLEAR". with a little eye glazing head-nodding aquatic vortex of SOY SAUCE's "SHROOM BASED WASBI" to the slow burn late night journey's of GEORGE KATSIRIS's "1 er Cru" and TWO a.m.'s "MISS MARIE" can only be followed up by the disturbingly artsy housey WIND CHILL FACTOR's "CRIMES OF LUXURY". if that's not enough, this sonic art will clinch it for you with FRUITBAT's twelve minute and fifty four second radip fire machine gun drum and bass track "ZENUBA". over all this an excellent introduction to the future of LUNATICWORKS and at a fair price.
