When I bought this card game for a mere $6, I didn't think I'd get much for the money, but I was wrong. This is a great card game for children aged 6-10ish and it comes in a cool sturdy lunch box so the cards and pieces don't get lost. My kids are 7 and 9 and they loved it. You have to build three peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with the cards that you are dealt. When you need a new card, you discard or use one, then pick up a new, constantly keeping two cards in your possession. Watch out for the fly! Someone can put down a fly card and move the little plastic fly to your sandwich preventing you from finishing it. However, you can continue to "build" it on the side and put it all together when someone moves the fly to another person's sandwich. There's also an ant card that can be used to "steal" part of someone's sandwich. We laughed so hard playing this as a family and switching the fly to each other's sandwich. Our only complaint is that for a group of four people, there weren't enough cards in the deck towards the end of the game to keep the pick up pile plentiful to keep playing. We constantly had to mix up the discarded pile and reuse those same cards. We did figure out that you once everyone has built one sandwich, you can take those cards and put them in the "take" pile to be reused. You could also just build two sandwiches for the game instead of three. Great little game for kids and parents!!!

Love this game. We play it at least 3 times a week and we have had the game for 3 weeks now. It is very easy for the kids to play. No reading involved. Does not take long to finish a whole game, 5 minutes or so. And I enjoy the game as well as the kids.

We received the Peanut Butter & Jelly Card Gamefor Christmas this year and have played it many many times. Our kids are 4 & 5 and love it and we like it as well. They can play it themselves without any help or supervision but particularly enjoy beating Mom & Dad. A game takes about 5 or 6 minutes, the rules are very easy to follow and there is a tiny bit of strategy that the kids pick up and can use.

This game is fun enough - my nieces (3.5 and 6) certainly request it upon occasion. But it's not much fun at all with only two people, and it's nearly impossible to finish with more than three, which ruins the fun a bit. We also tend to find that we spend too many turns passing because our hands are unplayable - the girls request the game, but then they get frustrated fast, and I do too!
I don't find the game that fun for adults, and while it is a kid's game I see no reason kid's games should be boring for the grownups who are forced to play. Finally, the cards are made of VERY weak cardstock, and got bent and split within the first two plays. Not cool.

I bought this at a specialty toy store for my daughter over a year ago.
We LOVE this game. We like to face off boys against girls and team up. My daughter and I play our own hand but only steal from the boys sandwichs or put flies on the boys, and they in turn do the same to us.Sometimes we team up parents against kids. It gets pretty dirty/competitive, but all in fun. We have a great time! I really am glad for this game making it's way into our family game night.

Bought this for my daughter a few months ago and we loved playing this game as a family!! We loved stealing from each other's sandwiches and placing flyies on the sandwiches as well! Great interactive learning game and the illustration of the card's and the whole lunch box itself, so beautiful and easy to take any where. Def recommend....we are going to purchase the other games just like it!!

I bought this game for a camping trip. I have two boys (9 and 5) and figured it would be fun enough for all of us yet along the lines of go fish so the 5 year old could play too. What appealed to the boys was the big plastic fly and I liked that fact that it was all kept in a little lunch box so all the pieces would stay together. Well, I received the little lunch box.... the clasp fell apart the first time I opened it ~ literally, it came off of the box and now the box can't be kept closed ~ and to all of our disappointment, the plastic fly was a mini poker chip with a picture of a fly on it. The cards are all there though thankfully, so we can play the game and still have fun (which really is the point). So, 5 stars for the game, but 2 stars for the quality of packaging and the fly poker chip :(

this is a great simple game for children and adults alike. my 4 year old really enjoys it. it doesn't require you to hold many cards at one time which is nice for little hands. it's easy to learn and one game goes fairly quickly so you can easily play a few rounds in one sitting.

My 5 year old son and I love to play this game together. I bought it originally for entertainment on a road trip, and it accomplished that and more! I enjoy how quick the game goes, and how he develops some problem solving skills by determining which cards to keep and which ones to discard. Definitely worth the price, kid and parent recommended!
