The It's Just Lunch Guide to Dating in Orange County

As a dating/relationship advisor for iVillage.com, the world's largest women's online community, I'm always looking for new books to recommend. I bought this one for myself just to see what was in it for my own personal use...and I was pleasantly surprised.

I think that the dating advice is very right-on and handy for someone who is checking out all the scenes in Orange County. The spots that are mentioned for meeting people, first dates, and romantic dates are very helpful...but require a little more explanation in some circumstances. For example, a cheap date suggestion is the Taco Surf in Seal Beach which is kind of a dump but allows a couple to walk around the quaint little town after the meal. But the Taco Surf chain is not really a place I'd go for any kind of date.

But overall, I'd recommend this book to any Orange County person who wants to diversify themselves around the area with a chance to meet a wide variety of love prospects. Since this book does such a thorough job, I give it a 5 star rating based on its usefulness.
