Lunch is a truely magnificent soundtrack. It's packed with great songs. Laurie Beechman does a killer "I Never Danced with You," Melissa Manchester makes a poignant statement with "Why Fall at All," and Carol Burnett steals the spotlight with "Perfectly Alone." I would love to see this musical on stage... Any musical theatre buff is seriously remiss for not having this in their soundtrack collection.

What a delightful find! "LUNCH" offers satisfying songs from the exuberant title tune to the comic "Requiem for a Lightweight" to the passionate "Time Stands Still" to the beautifully sad "I Never Danced with You." And extra bonus is the inclusion of Michael Rupert and Davis Gaines...both of whom I'd like to hear a lot more from. Laurie Beechman also offers one more gem to her legacy. I would love to see this show and would like to hear more like it.

I actually got to see this show when it was on tour eons ago and I have been in love with it since. I have just recently rediscovered the sounds of this amazing cast and recommend it to any musical theatre fan. There are a couple of songs on it that I could live without (hence only four stars), but it is worth having to push the skip button!!!

I only wish the great Laurie Beechman were able to have given us more before her passing. I was so excited to find Lunch, and to see she had a part in the cast recording. What a wonderful performer she was! I would loved to have seen the show.
