Innovative Lunch Punch sandwich cutters serve 3 really helpful purposes...they make kids' food fun to eat (so they're likely to eat more), removes crust with minimal waste, and conveniently cuts sandwiches into two (or sometimes more) nifty-sized pieces all in one cookie-cutter style cutout. First let me say I fell for these the moment I saw them online! They are super cute and an easy way to get kids excited about eating. To ensure the best experience with these I would keep the following in mind:
1. You have to be mindful of what sort of bread you use because these sandwich cutters are plastic and can't cut through dense or thicker breads very well. Sara Lee Soft and Smooth Whole Wheat Bread and Home Pride Wheat Bread seem to work well and leave minimal amount of waste.
2. Minimize what you put into the sandwich so it stays together. Shift your mind away from deli sandwiches and think of items you would find it tea sandwiches. I find less bulk on the sandwich makes for a better presentation and function as the sandwich will cut cleaner and be less likely to fall apart.
3. Since they are all plastic you can let your kids cut them! Getting them involved makes them more likely to eat the sandwich.

This product works well- you do have to press down pretty hard to get it through rad, but I use it to cut cheese slices and lunches for my daughter and she loves them!

My daguther & I love these lunch punches. They are so much fun & very easy to use. She is always excited to see which one I have picked out. On nights when we have grilled cheese for supper, she'll pick a different punch out for the whole family. It makes supper fun too :-)

Grandson loves it!
