I just got my LunchBots (one each of the Uno, Duo, Trio, and Quad) the other day and they're great. Timothy Nowaczyk  |  13 reviewers made a similar statement
Construction of the product is great and the steel is very sturdy. Greg Gauthier  |  7 reviewers made a similar statement
I can't even put a single sandwich in it, not even when I cut it in 4 pieces. Ivy  |  2 reviewers made a similar statement

4.0 out of 5 stars Trio versus the Duo January 21, 2011
Color Name:Stainless Steel|Amazon Verified Purchase
I got the Trio and the orange-lided Duo.

Pros
I like the sleek, modern look of the silver lid (I think the Uno comes with both silver and painted-lid versions). The Trio is much more rectangular (important to me because I like things modular) and the Duo more oval shaped. Because of its shape, the Trio holds slightly more food.

Cons
The Trio seems to have a different stainless steel lining. It's a bit rougher whereas the Duo has a really smooth, shiny surface inside. The divider seems to be sturdier on the Duo as well. The vertical line on the T-bar divider is not perfectly straight in mine. Handwashing is harder with the Trio because of that extra section.

On both items, the divider is not completely sealed off at the edges and that millimeter opening will let soup, for instance, through. But I had no problems with slightly wet cut-up fruit.

Overall, Duo is more versatile (2 halves of sandwich, 1 wet 1 dy sections, etc.) and I use it almost everyday. But I still like the Trio because I pack smaller portions of various food items. Having that extra section helps.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another Good Choice for Bento Lunchmaking! November 18, 2010
Color Name:Stainless Steel
I also own the LunchBot Uno and Duo, which I have been using to pack school bento lunches for my kids for a year. Like those, the Trio is made of excellent quality stainless steel with a snug (though not leakproof) lid. The nice thing about this one is that, like the Duo, it comes with permanently mounted dividers. This makes it easy to keep different flavors separate. I routinely use different sections for protein, vegetables and fruits. It also helps in making sure you're giving a varied, well-balanced meal to your child (or yourself). I love the design of this model, and and sure it will gain a place in regular rotation at our house. I whole-heartedly recommend this box (as I do the Uno and Duo as well). The company is responsive and interactive.

You can see how much I use these containers for packing daily lunches for my kids at my blog, […].

1.0 out of 5 stars disappointed February 12, 2011
Color Name:Stainless Steel|Amazon Verified Purchase
Initial post: I purchased 4 sets of various sized Lunch Bots containers when my daughter's school would no longer allow us to use the glass containers we had been using at their center for over a year and half. We will not use plastic so this was the alternative. Since the container is $18 I was very disappointed when the trio arrived and the section that divides the smaller two sections was put in at an angle. It was obviously not meant to be this way. Could not send back because I needed it immediately. Very disappointed that I got a bad container.

2 moths later: I really do like the product despite the fact that it wasn't built well. It is great to be able to put many items into one container. My daughter's preschool teachers have commented on how much they like the container too. I also have the duo LunchBots that I use as well. I am thinking about purchasing another Trio to use in my own lunch.

3.0 out of 5 stars Smaller than I thought
This lunch box is incredibly small. I expected it to be quite a bit larger. You can't fit too much food in it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cute and fun.
Just the right size if you are one watching your portions because it is a bit petite. The design makes eating from it fun.
