This album is neither good nor bad. the first six songs are pretty good but after that the album slowly falls apart. "In the mud" and "Third Eye" are by far the best songs on the album. "Slide" and "Steal my Shine" shed some light on this Cd, but the rest of it [is just bad]. I first bought this album after the Bizzar/Bizaar tour in 2001. Marz sounds much better live. The lyrics are good for the most part, but what makes this CD fall short is the beats. With the exception of the songs mentioned above, this cd has some horrible beats. Bottom line:If your looking for a good rap/metal band try out Bionic Jive or Hed P.E.. These groups are far much better than Marz.

Ok, I recently went to the Bizaar Bizzare Tour in Pocatello, ID. I had never heard of Marz until then. They hit the stage and blew me away. I bought this cd the minute I got home. It takes metal, mixes it with rap and hip hop, and just flip the whole thing up. They are a band, not just one rapper. As a band they sound very complete. BUY THIS RECORD!! Juggalos 4 ever.

After first seeing Marz open up for Papa Roach right here in Chicago, I finally found the true answer to this rap/rock era. They don't rap too fast like Bionic Jive yet the rap, unlike Papa Roach themselves or Limp Bizkit. The CD is fantastic, and its one of those albums that you can just put on and listen through and not find a bad song. And, since every single one of its songs is about sex ("In the Mud"=anal), its always funny. I would recommend anyone who likes what they can sample here should buy the cd immediately. Later-
