From Library Journal
Radziunas's story of often frightful and primitive medical misdiagnoses for her developing lupus is, unfortunately, often the case for lupus patients. Like Joanna Permut's Embracing the Wolf ( LJ 8/89), this autobiography is about a typical, active, trusting, middle-class housewife, who enjoys her lifestyle until her health suddenly changes her world. This is an excellent book for people who have lupus, those looking for answers to symptoms that have not yet been explained, and required reading for medical students, interns, and rheumatologists.
