An adventure novel set in the Superstition Mountains of central Arizona. The forward tells the story of the fabled Lost Dutchman Gold Mine and then the action begins as Kevin Stewart and his girl friend, Lauri Beth McCartney, try to avenge to murder of Kevin's uncle. Their search leads them to a hidden gold mine and a plot against the government of the United States.

The author shows his readers rather than tells them using dialogue as his main medium.

This book won the Arizona Book Publishing Association's 2001 Glyph Award for Best Fiction-Adult. It carries a medallion denoting this award on its cover.

About the Author

Tom Geldermann (TAG) grew up in the northern suburbs of Chicago. He graduated from Marquette University and spent his business career on the trading floor of the Chicago Board of Trade. He has logged over 4000 hours as a private pilot and has soled in ultralights. He and his wife, Joan, divide their time between Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and Scottsdale, Arizona.

I had trouble putting it down. It's fast paced and action packed. The character development is great. I hope someone writes a screenplay, because it would make a great movie.
