Editorial Reviews

Its a American Grindhouse double bill! Both for the first time digitally remastered from the original vault elements!

First up, LURKERS! From cult director Roberta Findlay (SNUFF) comes a psychological thriller about a beautiful, young New York cellist, whose demonic childhood nightmares have returned, plunging her into a horrific series of events that threaten her success, her sanity...and her life. Now see the horror from a brand new 16x9 master from the original IP first time anywhere!

Next up, DIE SISTER DIE!. A man (Jack Ging-SSSSSSS) hires a nurse (Antoinette Bower - PROM NIGHT) to care for his ailing but nasty and shrewish sister. What he really intends to do, however, is to convince the nurse to join him in a plot to kill her! Watch this film in its fist official/authorized DVD release, from a brand new master from the original negatives, first time anywhere!

2.0 out of 5 stars Only worth your time for Lurkers... March 24, 2014

Die Sister, Die is more of a plodding drama that's going to put you to sleep. Lurkers is interesting only because it's total nonsense. Parts of it are funny, parts of it are boring/WTF, but ultimately it's an exercise in bad filmmaking. It's not quite so bad it's good territory. By the same director of Blood Sisters and on the same sub-par level. But it has its moments, though they are few. It's hard to justify spending more than 12 bucks for it, though.

2.0 out of 5 stars Eh. January 28, 2014

Definitely lower-tier horror from the 70's & 80's. Nothing special about either film, but I've seen a lot worse. But don't take that as an endorsement.

1.0 out of 5 stars Bad pairing of movies January 26, 2014

Lurkers is a typical horror movie that does not make alot of sense. I was expecting a better movie. Its got some good special effects. It did not capture my full attention.
Die sister die should not be in this movie combo because its more of a murder mystery not horror. The movie is good better than Lurkers but its not what I am interested in watching.
