I think it's a great story!,

This review is from: The Lurking Fear (Kindle Edition)
When the narrator heard about the strange tales that were coming out of Tempest Mountain, he determined to get to the bottom of it. Taking two strong men with him, they camp out in the dilapidated Martense mansion, where horror overtakes them, and only the narrator escapes alive. But, this does not deter him in the least, and he keeps at the mystery...though the answer he finds is more horrifying that he might have imagined! This is another great H.P. Lovecraft story. Written in 1922, it is a good, solid piece of horror fiction. I must say, I like the antagonists, though I won't spoil things by saying who or what they are. I think it's a great story! |
