I am surprised that this product made it to the market. It is a great idea, but the end result is extremely dissappointing. The first luge I ordered was delivered broken in the box. Amazon promptly sent a new luge and it shattered after the first use. The flimsy plastic that it is composed of does not stand up to the freezing and thawing. You are better off ordering an ice luge from your local ice company.

GREAT way to get the party started! everyone wants a turn, and forget about a glass at the bottom. Really should give it a solid 2 days to freeze, takes a long time to melt, of course, you really only need it to function for about an hour before the dysfunction at your party will set in!!!!!!!!

I read the review by someone else that warned it was a one-time use product, so I was really careful when I dumped the ice block out of the mold. I ran hot water over the top to loosen it up a bit. It came out reasonably easy and it was fun at the party. However, I just went to fill it up again and there is a hole in the mold now so it's basically useless.
If you don't mind spending the ~$20 for a one time use thing, it's pretty good. But if you want to use it more than that, you will be very lucky to be able to do so.

Expectations Met
We purchased this as a novelty for our Kentucky Derby party and it was a lot of fun. It worked as described and we'll feature at our next party as well.

small, easy to use and make.
Everyone at the party loved this, surprised that some needed to be trained how to drink from the luge. We made a back up because it melts threw fast.

Can This Really Be Hygienic?
And who has a freezer big enough? So it's gross AND impractical...but what a fun way to spread herpes to all your guests. I'll stay home, thanks.

Complete waste of money

Fun idea but poor results
It only has top and bottom wedges to keep the ice in place, nothing on the sides, so if someone bumps the luge table or puts their mouth to the bottom too forcefully it will knock... Read more
