When I bought this CD I didn't know how it would sound when it said "instrumental" but what I found is that basically they just took out the lyrics! Which has it's advantages if you're not comfortable with the extremely graphic lyrics contained in the original version or if you just enjoy the music by itself. It's a nice thing for collectors to get but if you don't fall in the two categories above I'd just get the original version. It's a unique take on a classic album though, worth my money.
