I am a coffee drinker (I am big fan of Starbucks), so I am always looking for good whitening products that WORK! This one really did brighten my teeth about 5 shades without and messy trays or strips. I used the product for two days about 30 minutes per day and had no difficultly. The light seemed high tech and worked fine. I am prone to tooth sensitivity and did not experience any with Luster. I would recommend this product.

I was going to a friends wedding over the weekend and did not have a 2 weeks to wait for results (i.e. trays) and did not want to spend $500 at the dentist office. With this product my teeth were definitely brighter after about an hour. The 3 step process (rinse, apply the gel, and whitening light) was repetitive, but I did not mind since I was completely done with the entire treatment in 1 hour. Best of all- I did not get any tooth sensitivity. Quick, Effective, Great Product. WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!

This was an impulse buy and I was tempted to return it after reading some of the negative reviews. Glad I didn't. There were visible results after only ten minutes. I'd have liked them to be a little bit whiter, hence four stars instead of five, but there is definitely a significant improvement. The taste of the rinse is really unpleasant, but other than that, this was easy to use and well worth the money.

This stuff works so fast. I needed my teeth white for a wedding and did it right before I got ready. Strips make my teeth sensitive and gooey and they take forever. This light is easy and clean with no sensitivity. Will definitely use again! It must be out of stock because it works!

This product does live up to it's claim. While the process is tedious ( rinse, spit, apply, light... every two minutes ) and there was a bit of a drooling factor on the bottom teeth LOL... I did notice a distinctive difference after application. I don't have patience for reviewers who spend $40 on a product and expect to finish with the look of newly placed veneers! If you want a lot of bang for your buck, and generally whiter teeth when complete, this is for you! ( And trust me, I am neurotic about my teeth and can be hard to please!! ) A bonus is that there is no discomfort except for a slight burning sensation from the peroxide. Go for it!!!

I smoke (though I don't drink much dark cola/coffee/juice/red wine) and in my experience, this system works. I don't even use as much of the products as they recommend (especially not the "super whitener", it'd take forever to re-dip for every tooth) and it worked really noticeably in about 15 applications. No gum sensitivity really, but my lips burn a bit. Chap-stick helps that though.

Also, do feel free to just stick the light directly under your lips and sit there with your head tilted back and your lips totally pulled out; works a lot better than trying to hold it there trying to expose your teeth and gnarling like an idiot. Overall, worth it.

I used this product and it works amazingly well. I didn't even go the full 10 times because it worked so well on me.

I think that some peoples teeth are easy to whiten and some are not. Case and point, I had my teeth whitened by the dentist 4 years ago and so did my husband, I got amazing results there, off the charts for whiteness but my husband having received the same dentist treatment at the same dentist did not see any results at all. So I think some people that don't get results maybe have teeth that don't lend themselves to whitening.

Good luck, I would recommend this product to anyone just be aware maybe certain products may not work for you.

I didn't see how this product could work, as it sounded like it doesn't contain peroxide--otherwise, it would cause tooth sensitivity, right? I had the custom-made tooth trays I got from a dentist several years ago, and Rx-strength peroxide gel: while my teeth did get whiter that way, my teeth and gums hurt, and I had to have those things on my teeth two hours a day (and no eating or drinking during that time). Plus it too so many days to see results.

The Luster One Hour White does take an hour (actually, a little longer than that for me, but maybe I'm slow), but then you're done, and my teeth really DID get several shades lighter! It was the equivalent of using those expensive trays for a couple of weeks--maybe even better. After about the first eight two-minute sessions, I wasn't sure it was working, but after the tenth session, BAM! I saw a definite difference, and my teeth just kept getting whiter.

I don't have that much enamel on my teeth and would probably need veneers (if I could afford them) to have model-white teeth, but Luster got my teeth as white as can be. It's amazing what a difference whiter teeth make to my appearance: I look and feel cleaner, somehow. I will definitely recommend this product to my friends.

I highly recommend using a little petroleum jelly on the inside of your lips, as mine got irritated. (The irritation went away after an hour or so.) I also found it easier to wrap my lips around the light instead of trying to bare my teeth the whole time.

This product was SO worth the time and money!

Over the years, I've tried the strips, the paste...just not anything professional. I've never wanted to spend that much money. I bought this today because of the online reviews and I was enticed by the packaging and promises. I didn't have my hopes very high. Usually if something sounds too good to be true...it usually is. Not this time! While it didn't give me the Hollywood, gleaming smile you see on television and from professional whitenings, it did improve the whiteness of my teeth by a number of shades (how many, I have no idea). The process is straight forward: (1) rinse, (2) apply the gel and then (3) whiten for two minutes. Voila! I did accumulate quite a bit of saliva in my mouth during the 2-minute sessions, but that was easily remedied by simply keeping my head tilted back or lying on the sofa. I also found it helpful to actually wrap my lips around the device. Holding your smile wide like that for 2 minutes is more taxing than it may seem. For the price, I think it did a really nice job. I saw results after only 3-5 treatments. I would definitely recommend this to a friend....or anyone, for that matter.

Just got this and had great results after the 1st time I used it. Just as good (if not better) than the dentist and for a fraction of the price and in the convenience of my own home. Definitely recommend it!
