Love this
This replaced an older style "circle dimmer" switch that stopped working after about ten years. There is a rocker switch for on or off and a simple slider to adjust/dimm the lights. It was easy to install and both looks good and works well so far. It is installed in the dining room where I like to be able to change the lighting as needed. One side note: the outside...

Horrible design!
When you come into a room, you want to quickly be able to switch on the light. Well, with this switch, you have to find the tiny toggle switch on the bottom to do so. This is a backwards type of switch. The big lever should turn it on, and the small area should adjust the brightness. But nooooo... they want to make it hard on you. I moved into my house about 10 years...

One side note: the outside "decorative" edge does not come with this package. I bought the Leviton 021-80401-00W Decora 1-Gang Wallplate, (White) separately to "finish" the install.

I like the following one that is a bit more expensive than this one, but MUCH better and enjoyable to use:

Made noise when trying to dim. And didn't dim lights. So I returned it.
