LED bulb friendly!!!
I purchased 6 of this Lutron switch to replace the ones that came with the house. Previous attempts have been made to purchase nicer and fancier Lutrons that is dimmer capable, but they will not work with LED bulbs. While this one does not dim and will not give that nice slow startup, it will work with any type bulb you throw its way. I am quite happy with them...

Warning - No night light (soft glow) as described - just a switch
Description says: A soft locater light glows in the off position, making the switch easy to find in the dark. NOT ON THIS MODEL!! Contacted Lutron Customer Support and they informed me I would have to order model SC-1PS-NL (not SG). Wanted to use in a guest bathroom. It's a nice switch but annoying to see the two holes and know there should be small bulbs there...

I am quite happy with them and they went on quickly. Will probably buy 6 more in the future as I will be returning some of the other Lutron switches that will not work with LED and CFL type bulbs. *IF YOU WANT ILLUMINATED SWITCH* try looking at Leviton. They have one and are less expensive!! |
