This is a very nice design. The seating surface is somewhat higher and the back more upright than on your typical Adirondack chair. In my eyes, this makes the chair more ergonomic, i.e. easier to get in and out of. The chair looks great on our front porch, and I love relaxing in it. Assembly of the four large parts with the included hex key was easy and took 10-15 minutes. My only reservation is that the fit and finish could be improved. Notably, the back didn't quite line up with the armrest attachment points, and one hole for attachment of the backrest to the seating surface was not pre-drilled. The shipping box is double-walled and very sturdy, but the four large pieces could have used some padding between them. Upon opening, it looked to me like rubbing between the pieces caused some abrasion and a few splinters. With that said, these small flaws were easily remedied with a drill and some sand paper. At eighty dollars for a nicely designed solid wood chair, I would consider buying another one.

I bought 4 of these chairs for my deck. The chairs are well packaged, easy to put together and are sturdy when complete. The workmanship is not great. Lots of rough areas, with large splinters on the stretchers, needed significant sanding. One of the chair pieces (arm) was damaged at the joint and will not be usable without significant repair. My husband is a carpenter and it's on his list to see if he can fix it or build a new one. The chairs are comfortable and suited for outdoors. Don't sit in them without letting some of the oil finish soak in. You can see it on the paper it comes wrapped in. A couple of days in the sun and they were fine.

I recently purchased this chair and was very pleased with the final product. Beautiful finish and easy to assemble (only 4 large parts). I put the chair together in less than 20 minutes. The customer service is excellent. Representative called and asked if I received the chair and if I was pleased with the product. Hoping to order more from this seller in the future.
