These mittens are great and fit my 7 week old unlike the Gerber mittens which kept falling off. I agree with the other reviews that a baby's nails should be trimmed if they're too long but even with short nails, my son has eczema on his face and the mittens prevent him from irritating his eczema.

These are so much better than the Gerber and First Year mittens. They actually don't fall off. I ended up returning the First Year mittens. They're also a little bigger than the newborn mittens and were great for my 4 month old who had really bad eczema.

These mittens are excellent for newborn. It does not fall off easily. But when the baby gets older the mittens become smaller and too tight.

I've looked all over the internet to find a good set of no-scratch mittens for my baby girl and have purchased mittens from several sites. These are the only ones that I could find that stay on her hands and are actually large enough for her to stretch her fingers (she's 4 months now). In my last order, I found that the quality of the stitch around the elastic band for one glove in two separate packages was not complete, so I had to throw them away. With limited choices online and in store, I found these to be the best option.

These do not stay on. Do not bother with them, they are totally useless. We ended up using baby socks which worked much better. I was really disappointed with this product.

My 3 week old son developed baby acne all over his cheeks and chin and would scratch them too much to make them worse.
I of course bought mittens - the Gerber ones to start with, to avoid any nail poison. They worked fine for the first time before I put them into the washer - Out they came, shrunk and 3 sizes small!!! After that my son needed one hand movement to throw them out!

Disappointed, I came back to amazon and found these scratching specific mittens and decided to give them a try. These are just wonderfully sized to fit and cover my son's hands and they do not fall off even after a lot of hand movement. After 2 weeks of using them, my son;s acne is now under control and is showing good signs of improvement!

These stay on my 3 week old nieces hands much better than the Gerber brand found in most department stores.

The pictures don't do the set with the design on them justice. They are absolutely adorable.

good mits. they are a good size too. the ones from target had frilly lace, and a bit small too...i should have purchaced more for this price...and just may do that.

The item in the picture is not the item i received. The one in the picture has stars and writing and the one i got has bears and writing. it looks like the blue and pink ones. but they are still super cute and soft!

Other mitts I've bought are way too large for my newborn but these mitts fit perfectly. Material may be lightweight for some but perfect for those hot summers. Tag can be easily cut off.
