Luvs Premium Stretch Diapers

I have tried pretty much every diaper under the sun, to include; Pamper's baby dry, swaddlers & cruisers, Huggies snug n dry & supreme, Target brand, and white cloud. I have found that Luvs are my favorite. I really liked the cruisers, but for some reason they gave my son a rash. Luvs were the last type of diaper I tried and I'm so sorry it took me so long to give them a shot! They're similar to Pamper's cruisers onl without the mesh lining and high price tag! This is why I LUV 'em:
1. They're thin, yet very absorbant.
2. They're really soft and have a powdery fresh scent.
3. The elastic keeps messes in, but doesn't irritate baby's legs.
4. The "bear hug stretch" is super stretchy-similar to Cruiser's.
5. Most of all, I love that they cost about 20 cents a diaper compared to the 25 cents that Pamper's cruiser's cost per diaper.

I have used Luvs for 2 years with my sons. We used to "luv" them. Now about half of the tabs are breaking off while my kids are wearing them, causing wet clothes and a big mess! Plus, occasionally they are splitting open, spilling the absorbent gel crystals everywhere. The tab problem has happened with two separate sizes, so it's very disappointing! Both of my kids had wet beds this morning because of the tabs breaking!

I loved LUVS! They were a great economical alternative to pampers and I thought the quality was great. Rarely did I have leaks and the diapers felt nice and soft. I just ordered through amazon last week as I normally do and to my surprise, they had changed the design! No more Blues Clues! Which I imagine, they got rid of so they wouldn't have to pay the licensing fees. But along with the ugly monkey design, it seems the quality is different too. These diapers feel more harsh and paper-like. They no longer have the plush, cottony feel. Bring back the old LUVS. And yes, the new design is really ugly! I'm sure they could've designed something better even without using licensed characters but this just looks plain awful. Bring back the old quality!

After trying all the brands, I ended up buying Luvs and only Luvs for my son from when he was 2 months (now 10 Months), they never leaked, no rashes and I always got the biggest box with no second thoughts. Sometime around Jan, Luvs introduced new Monkey patterned diapers, they are disgusting, they leak so bad, I need to change him in the middle of the night. He is a light sleeper and after a diaper change, I need to spend the next hour trying to put him back to sleep. I would love to order and recommend this diaper again only if its the old ones.

Somebody plz tell me if the latest Luvs diapers received are the new Monkey patterned diapers or the old plain, strongly scented ones. I am running out of diapers and need to order the next lot within 2 days. Plz suggest some others or from where I can get the old Luvs diapers.

This is one of the best deals that I get for diapers. Amazons super saving shipping, along with the high quality of Luvs diapers is a perfect combination. Overall, I save $10 purchasing this package from amazon verses Target (the store I purchase diapers from in my area). I am always recommending Amazon to other moms for the great savings on diapers and the convience.

I HATE scented diapers. The smell is overwhelmingly strong and unpleasant. Mix that smell with Poo and I'm sure you've created the worst smell in the world. I'm very disappointing to find out that Luvs are scented. I was very excited to try them since they are cheap and I've heard great things about them. Some people like scented diapers. I'd honestly just rather smell straight poo. It may stink but it doesn't make me want to vomit every time I pick up my baby. Besides, scented diapers can't be the best idea for sensitive baby skin. My daughter hasn't had any rash trouble but I don't like the idea of having her sit in perfume all day every day. Many children do have serious skin irritation from scented diapers so they don't really make sense to me.

Also, I can't find anywhere on the box or item description that says these diapers are scented. If you are going to put a potentially harmful (and definitely awful smelling) substance in your diapers at least warn people.

If you are like me and don't like scented diapers then stay away from Luvs.

This diaper is no good, very thin,unable to hold baby's urine, and baby's feces leaked into pant. I do not recommend it.

I had never tried Luvs before and had some people tell me they are super cheap and not worth buying. My daughter (who pees through all diapers at night) never once leaked through these! I love them and will continue to use them with all my children. The only draw back is that you have to be careful of the velcro tabs...if you pull them too hard they will tear off however I've never had this happen. But if you are used to tougher diapers than you might want to be extra careful.

I would never buy Pampers, Huggies or any other brand again. These are so much cheaper & work just as good, if not better.
