If you liked the versions of Luxor on MSN Games than this game is for you! It's very addicting and easy to learn/play. The simplicity of this game is what makes it so appealing and yes, addicting! I picked this game up because I'm going to be taking a week-long cruise and wanted something that I knew would keep my attention on the days I'd be at sea. No other game has been able to keep my attention like Luxor on my PC and now that I have it for my PSP I may not get much done at work either!!

Great fun, easy to learn yet challenging. I love the graphics and the music with the game actually goes with the game and does not distract but adds to the game! Has become one of my favorites, I love games you can play quick for a short time.

It has no achievements similar to the first version. The color and graphics are limited and the play is very simple even on the highest and so called hardest settings. It is definately a scaled down version of the first game and if you were hoping for an advanced version then you will be completely letdown.

I am a 61 year old female. I have been playing video games since my 40 year old son got his first Atari about 28 years' ago. This particular game is wonderful for "kids" of all ages. No violence, just patience and skill. There are 3 levels of play so you can transition from 'easy' to 'difficult'. I really do not enjoy violent games and this game is great for hand-eye coordination. Very young children would have a difficult time playing this game but I would recommend it for anyone between the ages of 8 years to....well....anyone over the age of 8. Fun, colorful, easy instructions and hours of play. Worth every penny!

It reminds me of the game Zuma, but it has extras. With Zuma the balls you shoot change, but with this game they fall and you have to catch them, you have more options to destroy the bals.

Bought this game for my PSP to help get through the kid's doctor's appointments. Everyone knows how boring those can be. I became addicted to this game along with my 6 year old. She can't stop playing it and has bested me by about 4 levels. I have even gotten my nanny and wife hooked too. The game is simple and the graphics are nice. I mean, how hard could it be to shoot a marble and match 3 colors.

I do like the game, but I liked Luxor: Pharaoh's Challenge better. The game play and the graphics were better.

its fun, simple and easy to play, exactly what I want in a PSP game.

Mumbo Jumbo did a good job adapting the PC version of Luxor to the PSP format. Graphics and game play are nearly identical.

Puzzle games have always been a big hit or miss when it comes to excitement. ince Tetris was released for the Game Boy back in the late 80's, many gamers have always desired a taste for the addiction of a puzzle game. Yet, with all the success of a good puzzle game, there always has to be a knockoff to another one. Last year, Nintendo relased Magnetica, a addictive knockoff to one of the most addictive puzzle games on the computer, Zuma. Nevertheless, it seems like the PSP is trying that in the same suit as well, when a Nintendo DS game makes it big. They had a knockoff with the addictive puzzle games, Brain Age and Big Brain Academy into the game Mind Quiz earlier this year. Now, they did it with the same way Magnetica was, and that is in this game.
Luxor for the PSP, takes on the simialr action and excitement that Zuma had for other puzzlers. The object of the game is very simple, you have to make sure and protect the end of your line, by connecting the same colored balls by shooting balls, and removing them from a lengthy row of balls coming toward the goal line that you have to keep secure. The game features over 100 levels of addiction that may thrill some gamers who haven't played the loop puzzle games. Nevertheless, if you've mastered the other ones like Magnetica or Zuma, you might not feel as if it is as challenging. The graphics handle very well on the PSP, as well the sound, but the control is a little bit tricky to master at first, but for others who've mastered these games before, might find it easier. All in all, Luxor isn't a bad puzzle game for the Sony PSP, but I just wish that it could've been a bit more challenging. If you've played Zuma before, and mastered it you might not be interested in this. I thought it was interesting, but not a must buy.
