Based on the cover of this book I expected to find sumptious, elegant New York interiors. Instead I found interiors that looked like they were thrown together -- spaces with what appears to be bargain basement funriture, street finds and amateur modern art work! No style, no grace, no luxury! The cover was very misleading -- only one of the interiors was of the quality depicted in the cover photo! Save your money! I immediately donated the book to a used book sale!

3 of 4 people found the following review helpful By Mark D. Lehmann on July 12, 2010
Format: Hardcover
People say New York is the city that never sleeps -- with homes like these that seems crazy. From the walk-in closets of Wall Street's titans to the beach-front estates of the Hamptons, this book has it all. Reto Guntli has an eye for opulence and a real knack for getting great shots. It's a coffee table must and a great gift for any big apple fans in your life.
