I first found out about this product a few years ago. I tried it and I never had a problem with menstrual problems. I stopped taking it because of the extra expense, and I started going thru menopause. Many hot flashes. I started taking it again and has decreased them dramatically. As a matter of fact I went to the doctor this last week for another symptom and I mentioned the tablets. She stated they were very good and she trusted them because they have been around for a very long time. Till her, I had not met anyone that knew about them, other than the person that told me about them ( a pharmacist).

I first discovered these tablets in high school (over 20 years ago). They were the only thing that helped with severe cramps. I had tried other OTC medications like Midol and Pamprin which gave little to no relief. My Dad saw these at the drug store and bought them in an attempt to help relieve my symptoms. It was amazing how well they worked.
I also worked in our high school nurse's office and other girls would come in with severe cramps and want to go home. I would offer the tablets (just 2) and have them lay down for 15-20 mins. I told them that if it didn't work I would have the nurse call their parents to pick them up. Every single girl that tried them felt better within 15 mins and all wanted to return to class. I've never had to take more than 2 tablets in a day.
I thought they stopped making these tablets. They are hard to find in stores. Most young workers have never heard of them. I thought about them again because I am surgically menopaused and have been having problems with hot flashes and night wakings, etc... I was thrilled to discover they are still available.
I very much recommend this product. It has been around for a long time. In fact many works of literature refer to "Pinkham tablets". They are time tested and prove to be an excellent product.

I need to tell people what just happened to me. I got the product. I used it for two days and ended up at the emergency hospital with a bad allergic reaction. Now I have to take three different medications to get well. The ingredients of the original formula seems to be fine. The doctor's opinion was that it could be the new chemical bonding to make the tablets that caused the reaction. My recommendation to everybody is to start with a lower dose (not what is recommended on the box...) and see how you react to it. It is very powerful stuff. It may be great for some people but that was not my experience! Please be aware that even that is a natural product; still is a med- be careful. CW Tampa, Florida.

I have had hormonal problems for years, and often have problems with period regularity. I have tried almost everything including being on the pill. This is the best product I have ever found for this purpose. There are no side effects, there is a reduction in PMS, and my periods arrive like clockwork and are not as heavy. I found this product at a local Walgreen's, but last summer they announced they wouldn't be carrying it in that store anymore. I am very glad to have found them online. This product is great, I reccomend it highly.

I have to admit, I never heard of this until about four years ago. I was starting to experience pre-menopause. I ran into a girlfriend that had been having horrible sweats and severe mood swings because of surgical menopause. She said she would sweat through her business suits and was so ashamed of how her clothes would be so wet. She recommended this and her children added to the report, how THEIR lives changed because of Lydia Pinkham. I found it at Walgreens near me, then it stopped being on shelves. I was relieved to find it online.
It has helped me to almost experience no menopausal symptoms. Then my daughter was having severe pain with her menses. I tried midol and pamprin, but nothing relieved her better and longer than Lydia P. So we found if a few days before her menstration was due to take 2 a day. She could not even feel the onset of it coming. Because she started so early at ten, I really didn't want her taking heavy pain meds. It has saved my life and my daughter. I have another pre-teen that hasn't started yet but it's a blessing to know that the old remedy still works today. Also, my 80 year old auntie swears by it from back in her day. I have to keep the liquid on hand for quick fixes. And I use the pills 2/aday for a few weeks. If symptoms come back I hit the liquid and balance with the pills!

I know, so many people think Lydia Pinkham products are a joke. My mother gave me the Lydia Pinkman liquid product when I had cramps or mood swings when I was a teen. I remember she took the same product when she was going through "THE CHANGE", as she called it.

When I started symptoms of menopause, I didn't want to use hormone replacement therapy. Instead, I bought Lydia Pinkham Herbal Tablets. The micro-dosing of the herbs worked better than taking pure Black Cohash supplement. After taking the product for six weeks, I was free of hot flashes. If I had symptoms return, I used the tablets for a week or so and that worked very well.

I did ask my doctor about the product, and he said as long as I didn't have any allergies to the ingredients, it was okay.

It's important to read the ingredients to check for allergies. If you are prone to hayfever or seasonal allergies, I'd check with an allergist before taking this. For me, this is an excellent remedy for menopausal symptoms or menstruation problems.

This product has worked wonderful for me. It brought an end to my suffering every month. I wish I had known about it many years ago.
