Best CD out in a long long LONG time!!,

This review is from: Lynch the Weirdo (Audio CD)
Bad Acid Trip is the most unique band I've ever heard... there is nothing generic about this original energetic awesome band. I have been fortunate to see them live on a few occasions and there is nothing like them out there, with the most entertaining live shows and great music, what more can you ask for? This album is great, if you like hardcore in your face music then you will be thrilled with this CD all the songs are great, Cigarette Pack is a great song with a great melody and beat, so is Zombie Nation not to mention Constructing Love and Bad Acid Trip, the song Habits of Clay is a bit different than the rest of the songs and is awesome as well, not to mention Plate of Shrimp. This is a must own CD, when you hear B.A.T. you know you just heard something new, exciting and great. In an age of mindless generic cookie cutter music this band stands out and demands attention!!

Weird, crazy music with a message.,
By nationalism is a malignant cancer... (Mount Holly, NC, USA) - See all my reviews

Bad Acid Trip's "Lynch the Weirdo" is quite possibly one of the most insane things I've ever heard...and they actually have a good message. As far as genres go, Bad Acid Trip ranges from grindcore, punk, thrash and something one cannot describe. The music is intense, strange and chaotic...perfect mix of agressive music. The lyrics, on the other hand, are the shining part of this album. They range from goofy ("Cigarette Pack" and "Zombie Nation") to Hot Topic-hating, anti-commericalism ("Jump Rope-Spray Water") to government and social issues ("Kill or Be Killed," "P.C.," "Fascist F*ckwad," and "Beef-Moo." In summation, if you enjoy eccentric and chaotic music with entertaining yet thought-provoking lyrics...pick up "Lynch the Weirdo."

I've seen these guys live like 6 times and Dirk & the boys never let you down! I first was introduced to B.A.T back when I bought the Blllleeeeaaaauuuurrrrrgggggghhhhh! 7inch compilation on Chris Dodge's (the ledgendary powerviolence band SPAZZ)record label Slap-A-Ham. I got into them and purchased their record "Remember" and I was blown away. I heard some ass call them "System of A Down" rip-off's but this is far from the truth! They have known System before they got big and are good friends. Plus Daron produced "Lynch the Weirdo" so there was a lot of collaboration there. Lynch the Weirdo is amazing! All the speed and brutality plus the slow parts just to catch your breath before the next blast beat rips out your spine! GET THIS ALBUM!!!!!!! ALL SYNONYMS OF BRUTAL APPLY!
