After suffering with the slow healing plantar fasciitis for 9 months, these lynco orthotics eliminated the pain for me instantly.

The custom made ($500+) orthotics from a podiatrist made things a little better, but my feet were still in pain at the end of a day of walking in the city. (I walk about 3 to 6 miles daily in New York.)

I decided to try these after a quick sizing up at a local shoe store, put them in shoes (tip: I put them on top of the existing insert on a shoe 1/2 size larger than my usual size) .. the pain went away.

In talking to the very knowledgeable foot consultant at the walking company he summed it up for me: Custom orthotics are hard/stiff and made to manage plantar fasciitis when standing, these Lynco inserts are made for walking.

Note that the walking company has an upgraded version with even more cushioning with a model number L1200 which I prefer even more.

Please try these before going the expensive route with a podiatrist.

P.S. (Does anyone want to buy about $2500 worth of custom orthotics for 10 cents on the dollar?)

I am now using this orthotic in ALL of my flat shoes. I am about to order two more for two pairs of new shoes. I was introduced to this product more than a year ago when I was seeking relief from foot/leg/knee pain. My body was totally out of alignment and I seemed to be breaking down more and more. Using this orthodic in some very high quality shoes with good arch support has relieved me of all pain. On the rare occasion when I don't use the insert, I sense a decline in my condition. Of note: this orthotic should be replaced regularly, depending upon the amount of use.

I have had this product before from local well known orthopedic store but thought it was overpriced at $80, even in the $50's I paid I wonder if they are really worth it. They help but I don't know the cost to benefit ratio. Regardless they are in my dress shoes and make the feet somewhat more comfortable and provide better support than anything I've tried from the local Walmart/shoprite or pharmacy footcare sections. Vendor was very good and would look at other products they carry as well.

The product is worth the money. Very good support and much superior to the inserts that come standard in Nike and Reebok shoes.

I purchased these lynco aetrex orthotics at the recommendation of the asst. store manager at a family owned business because I have osteoarthritis in both feet. He recommended to remove the current insoles and replace with these. After wearing them for several weeks I still could not get use to them and felt like I was walking on the hard, outer edge of the orthotics. I wrote to the company a simpl letter asking for my money back ($60 some dollars) and never heard a word. I would even send the orthotics back if they wish. The shoes no longer have the original insoles so I also have a ruined pair of shoes. I am not very pleased at all. Brenda, Minnesota

I've used Lynco inserts for years in my Brooks running shoes. This time--the first time I ordered them online--they were too large, although they were the same size I'd ordered previously. I had to trim them down with scissors. They still work, but I'm not sure that they hit my foot in exactly the same place they did before.

Regardless, they still seem to do a great job of preventing foot/ankle/knee problems when combined with my Brooks running shoes.

These orthotics are so comfortable and supportive. I can stand and walk for considerably longer periods of time with these in my shoes without foot pain or fatigue.
More on this later.

This is the 5th pair of Lynco orthotics I have ordered online. I have them in all my shoes. They hold up extremely well for very active people. The delivery was fast.

If you wear a half size shoe (9.5, 10.5, 11.5, 12.5 etc) get the next size up otherwise you'll have a gap that your big toe will find curious. Otherwise, they are very comfortable. The only downside is that they don't last very long. I run 3 times per week (roughly 3 miles per run). I'm not an avid runner nor am I super fast. But after about a month a hole started to wear in these. I would say they're quite expensive for only a month of wear because after the hole was formed they were no longer comfortable.

Finally, relief from Plantar Fasciitis! I got a pair of these from a specialty foot store, and they worked great!!!! Instant pain relief! When it came time to replace the original ones, I found these, at a considerable discount from the same thing at the foot store.
