The best biography about President Johnson ever written.,
This review is from: Lyndon: Oral Biogrphy (Mass Market Paperback)
I think that this Biography of Lyndon Johnson is a very interesting book because its the first book that tells you about his life from his own perspective. It describes his life, his political career, his years as Vice President and his years in the White House as President. The book also includes interviews from members of LBJ's family, friends, and members of his cabinet. It also talks about how LBJ and the Joint Chiefs committed US troops to the war in Vietnam and why he chose not to run for reelection. The book discusses LBJ's life after he left the White House in 1969. This is a book that is worth reading if you can get a copy. I really enjoyed reading it.
