I highly recommend this book!! I could not stop reading it once I picked it up. I really feel the author's words can be very influential to many people when set to music or when read as poems. I am a social worker who works with vulnerable populations and am so excited that I have a new reference tool to help me connect with my clients. There are poems/lyrics in this book that can be utilized to help children and adults feel that they are not alone with their problems and give them hope for a new tomorrow. Aaron does a great job of letting his spirit shine through his words and I cannot wait for Volume II!!

This fresh new voice of a musician/poet reminds us of the days when music met poetry and created the timeless ballads of the early and middle 20th Century. Who can forget Mitchell Parish's elegy to the melody of Hoagy Carmichael when he wrote STARDUST. Some music is forgettable but the melding of lyrics with melody will evoke feelings you will never forget. Aaron Jones has done just that with this new book of warmth and love. This is how it used to be folks. Before melody separated itself from lyrics and poetry was replaced by anger and disenchantment. This book is not only a tonic but an antidote to what passes for lyrics these blighted days.
