Lyte in my opinion is truly the ultimate female emcee in history. Lyte Years highlights the emcee at her earlier years from public service announcement videos, source of motivation, classic videos like "Lyte As a Rock, Paper Thin, I'm Not Havin It, Eyes are the Soul, Cha Cha Cha" to the making of the aforementioned videos, as well as extracts of certain unreleased material like Sinbad's I Aint Lyin & A Dr. Soul performance. She truly has come a long way as a respectable hiphop femcee. Much love and respect to hiphop and its pioneers. I LOVE YALL.

If you are a fan you'll definitely love this videotape. It has a lot of old videos and only goes up to about 1992. It definitely brings back memories of that era in hip-hop, loving it!

This 1991 tape is a classic, and reveals why she is in a class by herself. She touch's on Public Service Announcements, her input on the video's, being the first female MC to perform at Carnage Hall, and features classic gems such as, Paper Thin", Lyte as a Rock", Cha,Cha,Cha and Eyes are the Soul. I hope to see her put out a DVD that follows up the last 10 plus years she has been in the game. She is definitely in my opinion the best female MC. "Ain't no Other".
