Outstanding value...,

I bought these instead of the IE-20s because I just couldn't rationalize spending that much money no matter how hard I tried. In hindsight the IE-20s would have been better for me BUT when I goosed the low end EQ on my MP3 player, the sound was exactly what I wanted, crystal clear, awesome resolution and depth, and a soundspace that was amazing. I had to drop the volume on my MP3 player by 25% because these have such "head filling" sound.
Well worth what I paid for them!

ie-10 sound pretty good :),

I have bought ie-10 to be able to do denoising while being on train and sound isolation helps a lot to it. Now I can even listen at much lower volumes and still hear fine details . The sound quality is pretty good and I would compare it with conventional headphones, maybe there is something missing from classical music and bass resolution, but not that it would matter at this price. I would say it's money well spent.

In general it is a good product, it is shipped with a noise reduction device which is attached to the end of the earphone, it works perfectly in the subway, the only problem I am having is that the cord is starting to sulphate which you can notice because the cord is transparent and in the end you will see something green, but in general is a good product.

IE-10 or 30 replacement cables - staggering stupidity,

The IE-10 and 1E-30 shine because of their replaceable cables. Earpieces last forever, the cords don't.
Sadly, the entire AVID/M-Audio universe is clueless about how an owner might actually purchase a new cable. After a year of research (with multiple IE-10s and IE-30s idled) I discovered that "Ultimate Ears" by Logitech manufacture these ear-buds, and has plenty of cables on hand. Order here: [...]

Great products.
Works great and with the different size buds, there is no problem with the fit. I use them for home practice and our church band. I hear things much more clearly and it has helped me in following along and getting my bass lines down properly. Since I own other M-Audio products I knew these would be good. And they are good and the price was excellent considering the quality compared to other higher end ear buds for the same application.

M-Audio IE10 in ear phones,

An excellent choice for me. Not quite as nice the Shure EC3s I have been using but a little less in cost and a lot more sturdy in construction. I had to return 2 pairs of Shure's due to breakdown and flimsy build. My one beef would be the selection of "bungs" that came with them. A softer, more flexible material would be better and more comfortable. Great sound, great isolation, I like the way the wires go over the ears to minimize cable knocking and maintain a secure fit. Another fine M-Audio product

The extension cable is a little shorter than expected (just about long enough to comfortably reach your desk computer) but it is swappable which is nice. At first you have to look close to determine right/left, but once you get the wires bent back around behind the ears, suprisingly easy to put on and adjust. The earbud bodies kinda' stick straight out of your ears to you can easily grab and push 'em in tight to cut out ambient noise or leave a little loose to let in ambient noise. As far as sound goes, amazingly clear. I think these IE-10's sound a lot better than the my old pair of over-the-ear AKG240's which were way too uncomfortable with any moderate periods of use !
