Good Buy, October 10, 2007
This review is from: M-Audio Midiman Midisport 2X2 USB MIDI Interface (Personal Computers)
For the price, this is a very good option if all you need is midi to and from your USB port. Have had absolutely no problems.

Worked like and charm for several years, then died suddenly, December 26, 2008
This review is from: M-Audio Midiman Midisport 2X2 USB MIDI Interface (Personal Computers)
But, given the low price, I suppose it was worth it. I got around 4 years of problem-free use out of it. Weird how it just died one day. I don't think I did anything wrong or out of the ordinary. I don't know what would have given way inside this simple little box.

Not very good, April 17, 2011
This review is from: M-Audio Midiman Midisport 2X2 USB MIDI Interface (Personal Computers)
Use: Computer interface
Experience: 15 years of piano, Music Tech Major
It's very easy to use. Plug and play interface.
Cons
-If you are a fast piano player. It wont keep up with your player
-Extreme amount of latency
-Sustains notes even though I am not sustaining them.
-Does weird things with my notes. It will crush notes together even though I played them separately.
I bought it cause its cheap. If you want good equipment, then buy expensive stuff. You get what you pay for. I made a mistake. As a music major, I would never get this or recommend it to my friends.
Do yourself a favor. Buy an m-box (not a fan of those though), or presonas. Spend a little bit more cash, and get something good.
