I bought this particular book as an introduction to a tessellation project I did with a 5th grade art class. I'm so glad I purchashed this item. The students were amazed at the patterns and it really sparked their interest. It was great way to integrate geometry concepts into art.

Color book for teen-agers and adults that want some occupational therapy. Images (as with Escher) are often redundant and beauty is in contemplating the infinite. Don't do this to your kid unless they are already well-advanced into neurosis! (Note: Two-page (non-redundant) "poster" is wonderful for those that like the whimsical style of Escher's creatures.)

If you are a fan of Escher, this is the book for you! I also am having my son color these to see how different colors show different patterns. Great book!

This slim book is a superlative endeavor for the nascent artist who wishes to grok the tantalizing, intriguing and intricate creations of M. C. Escher's uniquely perceptive intellectual faculties. Do have ample fine- to medium-tipped pencils of several colors at your ready. Also. engage your answering machine to thwart interruption of your artistic pursuits.

I purchased this book to use with my geometry classes. It gives my students an opportunity to explore rotation, translation, and reflection in a way that's challenging and creative. It also introduces them to the fascinating work of M.C.Escher.

I highly recommend this book to teachers who use a visual approach to teaching math, especially geometry.
