Oh, if only we lived in the 17th century!, May 6, 2009

I once played in the band for a production of Molière's *Le Bourgeouis Gentilhomme." We baroque-fiddlers in the pit were constantly craning our necks to watch the action on the stage. I've never been so entertained in my life, and I wish everybody could witness the Golden Age of Entertainment, when great actors performed genuinely funny plays to the accompaniment of high quality, high spirited music. This recording is tasteful and tastefully goofy, in the mock doctorization part, as it should be. Enjoy!
