The 16 foot roll stretched to fit my 19 foot double garage door. The kit comes with plenty of large-headed, aluminum nails. On my single bay garage door I learned to stretch the rubber tight so that gaps do not occur between the nails. I tried a staple gun, but the nails worked better. The seal was water tight.

I received this product today and went to work putting it on the garage door. My doors are, tack on, 8 feet each. I unrolled the seal as I was tacking it on to the first door. When I got to the edge I cut it off. I moved to the second door and found out I had been shorted 5 inches of seal. re-measuring I found the seal was only 15 feet, 7 in. long! Not the 16 feet advertised.
If the seal had been the proper length, I would have been delighted with it! works great on goes on easy. Nails with caps are proved for installation!
When you receive it, the first thing you should do is to measure the seal, before doing anything else, to make sure you have the correct length!

Watch out for this one!

It looks good and seals out rain, heat, cold & bugs well. It is important to install it correctly for a good fit. An alternative door bottom was going to cost $68 so I found this to be a good value. As I own seven rental homes and one personal home, I'm always searching for good value in products to maintain my homes well.

After having purchased a Garage door bottom rubber from Home Depot that turned out not to work I checked Amazon and found what I thought was exactly what I needed.
The picture was identical to the bottom rubber I had taken off, but when the M-D product arrived, it was not what the picture showed, in fact it was exactly the same as
the one I had gotten from Home Depot.
Buyer beware when looking at the pictures that accompany the products.

If you need this type of product, don't wait. Buy this. Good product, easy to use and effective. Could have used a few more nails though.

This is a good seal that was nearly an exact replacement for the old one that had rotten and chipped away over the years. The length was great and the nails for installation were of good quality and easy to install (no bending).

Been glued to my floor for almost a year not and works great. Stops the water from making a mess in my garage. Was so happy I bought a second one for my second garage. Very happy.

I really needed a door threshold for my new garage: rain blows directly at it--and under it--as I figured it would. I'm happy to report that this product glued down easily on my concrete foundation with the ample adhesive that came with the "rubber" strip. I've had it a year now, and it's held up well to hot sun and sealed out the driving rain.
