This product is just as advertised and is the perfect solution for wooden garage doors. Took me about 2 hours to unpack, cut to size, and install. Be sure to have a tool to cut the aluminum rail (I used a Dremel with a cutting wheel), and caulk the outside seam between the rail and the garage door. This is probably a good product but when I finally got around to opening the package I found that the included screws were too short for my door. I am not certain why this is but it is. I have purchased new longer screws and will see if they get the job done. The Seal was sent out promptly and other than being in two parts which I did not realize when ordering it was pretty much as advertised. The instructions that come with the product are weak which for the most part appears to be a common thing today.

This is a great fix for garage doors when the rubber seal at the bottom wears out. It's universal, so you know it will fit. My door is metal, but it works on wood doors as well. This is an EXCELLENT product and I couldn't be happier.

Just what I was looking for. The bottom of my old door did not have a dual slot for the rubber. So the alu,ium plate was just the ticket...

Thanks to the two-part cardboard tube in which the product was shipped, I had little trouble installing the aluminum track: I lowered the garage door onto the cardboard tubes, then slid the track between the tubes and the bottom of the door. That supported the track so I could insert the screws.

Sliding the gasket into the track was challenging, but by raising the door to just after the curve of the door opener track, the task was very easy.

All in all, I'm sure this would have been much easier had there been more than one person doing it.

Installation was somewhat difficult because of the type of garage door I have, but the product functions well and keeps little mousies from trespassing into my garage and leaving their little nasties behind.

I'll see how well the rubber seal holds up over time.

I made it work anyway. Although this garage door came billed as "Universal aluminum and vinyl seal", it did not fit my 24 year old garage door. However, with a little "southern ingenuity" I made it fit. All-in-all a good product and the company had speedy service on the shipping.

I bought this for my garage door which was made of wood, it was very easy to install I didn't need any help. the only thing that bottom rubber was a bit tricky to slide through but once you figure how to do it, it takes a minute to put through just make sure that rubber seats in the tracks.

Well worth the money. It works as advertised and seems to be of high quality.

I highly recommend this product.
