Okay entry in a great series,

I really liked this entire series. This entry, unfortunately, was far from my favorite. We have two characters who are waaaay to good for this Earth to be believable. There wasn't any significant impediment to them being together. There wasn't a particularly interesting surrounding cast. This book just got boring. I cant even remember the ending. I may not have finished it. Boring.
The series theme of the "secret Santa" didn't play as big a role as in other entries, which is a shame, as I've enjoyed it in the others. I bought it mainly to be a completist, and would only suggest it to others who want to finish the set. This is probably a two-star book that gets pulled up to three by virtue of being part of the series. |
