This cover has several pockets and a place for a pen inside, unlike some of the other Nook covers. It folds back, has a soft interior, and, best of all, has a secure, clever belt that doesn't stick out and can be reversed to hold the cover back. The Nook also stays in place with the corner system (the top two are tight elastic). On top of that, it comes in durable leather in my favorite color, purple, and looks attractive. It has everything I wanted.

Well I thought I really wanted this case but when it arrived it was smelly, it made me itch teriibly. I had to wash it off many times in order to just hold it. It has too much extra room in it, I guess it is for the light that you can place in it but holding it for reading is not practical or comfortable. I has just too much space. The inside material looks cheap and that is where I beleive it smell came from and it does not look like a nice material. I should have purchased something else or nothing at all. I already had a case but when I saw this at Bestbuy, the case did not look like this at all. Maybe this is not the same case exactly. Bending it back or holding it open is just no comfortable for reading my Nook ereader.

I had to buy another case ASAP after the disappointing Acase I bought(VERY cheaply made). This case is on sale at Best Buy cheap, and it looked the same size as the Kindle 3 when I took it over to the display, so I figured why not? The Kindle 3 does fit, one of the top straps may be a little off and perhaps the straps will loosen after a while. But for now the Kindle 3 is snug inside and fits. I have access to all ports and buttons. It is very well made too. Better made than the official Amazon case IMO(sorry Amazon). Thick but nice leather, and the lining is great! Plus inside pockets and a pen holder(I assume that's what that inside strap is). I'm pretty sure Nook(original Nook only) owners will be happy with this too, especially if they can get it on sale.

I will order another in a different color off Amazon. IMO the Kindle is great, but it's case selection is a bit lacking. Nook has far classier cases available.

UPDATE 8/30: I'm still using this for the Kindle 3 and it's now my favorite case for reading in bed!! Perfect!

I love this case. As someone else mentioned, the only disappointment is that it cannot hold the charging cord. Other than that, it's great! My nook fits perfectly, even with a silicon cover on as well (can never be too careful).

The inside pockets are a little pointless. They are oddly sized and unless you are carrying maybe one or two business cards, I can't imagine what you would carry in them.

I recently ordered an e-luminate light. I am hoping (although the light says it is for a kindle cover) that it will still fit, as this is an M-Edge product and it does have a slot for the light. it would be nice to be able to carry the light in the case with my nook.

Overall, this is a great product. I bought mine from best Buy with my Nook and I love it! It is a good size, and makes me feel my nook is secure in my purse, and when I am carrying it.

I definitely recommend this to Nook owners :)

Very happy with this item, it does fit the Kendle as well, is very well made, and the color is exactly what I wanted.

This leather cover is exactly what I wanted for my nook. It is well-made and has a simple, yet elegant design.
Of course, my main concern in purchasing a cover for my nook was to protect it from damage. But why not be stylish while I'm at it?
The simple design makes it a classic, while the purple color is still fun and sets it apart from the drab, boring covers available.
The quality of the product is unparalleled; the stitching is exquisite and the interior pockets are well-made also.
I would definitely recommend this product to other nook owners!

I've had this case for a few months and it has protected my nook perfectly. Anytime I spend a lot of money on any kind of electronic, I like a case for it.
This is perfect. Easy to remove my nook from. LOVE IT.

I'm the type of person who takes every purchase I make seriously, so I searched covers and comparisons. This cover is excellent. It's classy, comfortable to hold, and great with the way the light stores in the spine. My only disappointment is that it can't contain the charger cord. Still, I'm giving it a 5* since I truly believe it beats many others that can't store the charger cord either and the price is definitely a value.

This Nook jacket is exactly what the seller said it was and I received the product much faster than the expected time. I would use the seller again and recommend others use them as well.
