I don't usually write reviews of engagement calendars but this is the most beautiful one I've seen. The production quality is excellent--it's spiral bound with a heavy hardcover front and back, and the pages are good quality sturdy card stock. Due to the weight of the paper it has a bit of heft to it. The reproductions are stunning and the graphics on each page are designed to quietly compliment the art work.
Included are many of the symmetry pattern works we've come to associate with Escher, but also a couple of his earlier works done in a more naturalistic style. Preceding every series of weeks in a month you will find the whole calendar of a month on a page. Major holidays (including Jewish) plus phases of the moon are included, but not a lot of extraneous information to clutter things up. It looks like it should cost a lot more than it did.

Fine quality paper and reproductions. Worth looking at 365 times. Will keep as a reference for 2008.
