The tough, compact M-ROCK Yellowstone Top-Load Holster Camera Case, M-ROCK's most popular holster bag, accommodates a digital SLR camera body with a 4-inch lens attached. Made from super-strong, water resistant materials, this bag protects your equipment from impacts, scratches and harsh weather conditions.

This case features a well-padded main compartment that includes two adjustable bridge dividers that keep the weight of the camera off the attached lens. In addition, this case features three pockets -- a large front pocket, a mesh pocket under the lid, and a pocket on the rain flap -- for small accessories such as memory cards, batteries and filters. Larger items such as a lightweight tripod can be strapped to the bottom of the case with the attached bungee cords.

For added protection, this case features a rain flap that covers the front pocket. A drawstring weather jacket that can be wrapped around the entire case is also included. This case is also easy to carry with two adjustable, padded shoulder straps, a padded carrying handle, and a strong velcro belt loop. And all this is backed by a lifetime warranty, so you know this case is built to last.

My holster case for many years was an M-Rock so I wanted to upgrade to a slightly larger one to hold a slightly larger camera.
I had to send it back because the front flap (which looks like it opens up to get at the camera) is only a flap and you have to unzip the top from the back to access the camera. Since I chest mount the case this was of no use to me. I am disappointed to learn that none of the new M-Rock cases have a front entry like the old models. I had to search hard to find a Tamrac that worked like my old M-Rock. Unfortunately the Tamrac doesn't have the really nice chest mount shoulder straps that the M-Rock has so now I have a Tamrac case with M-Rock straps.

Having searched extensively for camera cases, I am extremely pleased that I settled for the M-Rock range of products. They are extremely well designed and made.

It is well worth looking at the M-Rock Website www.m-rock.com to review their range of items before purchasing through Amazon (where your product search may not have shown you how all the cases can be configured). M-Rock is a modular system and can be customised for your collection of camera kit by selecting the right series of cases; all of which can be rapidy joined together as a single carry case, attached to a belt for hands-free carriage, or separated for agility when not all your equipment, and less bulk is important. The modularity is an excellent feature and the products are inexpensive for their quality.

The design of each case is comprehensive and the equipment is robust. It is perfectly suited for amateur photographers, however it is really a great product where your photography takes you into more extreme outdoor, or touring environments.

I had a minor after-market issue and contacted M-Rock through their webpage. I received first hand assistance from Mr Michael Rockwell via email and the matter was addressed immediately and in a very business like and caring manner.

I am extremely happy with my purchase of the Yellowstone, Ozark, Niagra and Modular Belt, and strongly recommend the M-Rock product.
