About the Author
TERENCE E. TIERNEY was a columnist for Emmanuel Magazine and THE BEACON. He has authored more than 175 articles for magazines, journals, and newspapers in the United States and abroad. In addition, Mr. Tierney is the author of six books, one of which is still selling briskly after more than 27 years. Mr. Tierney''s education, legal background specializing in marriage, and his experience as a counselor on marriage and family life enable him to bring a wealth of knowledge to the topic of sexuality. He and his wife of 25 years live in Pennsylvania. They have two sons, one pursuing a degree in journalism, the other a doctorate in educational psychology.
