Nice long flag but the plastic attachment that connects the two pieces of the pole snapped right off. Now I think I will need to zip tie the two poles together. I thought it would be more sturdy.

This flag is attached to a two piece pole joined together by a flimsy plastic sleeve. The plastic sleeve broke in four days. I corrected the problem by purchasing a brass plumbing sleeve, 2" X 1/16" inside diameter. I superglued the brass fitting to the lower section of pole, leaving about 1-1/2" open for the top pole to slide into. It works great, but I should not have had to repair a new item. DO NOT BUY THIS UNIT UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO SPEND TIME AND ADDITIONAL MONEY TO MODIFY IT.

The flag makes a huge difference in being able to see my 4 year old riding down the street. He has an 18 inch boys mountain bike. He just learned how to ride a 2-wheeler so the bike is often crashing down either with him or on it's own as he jumps off and leaves it to go run off and play. However, the flag has not snapped off. I ordered 2 more for some of his friends. The first time it arrived in a triangle shaped box with padding. The new ones just arrived in a plastic bag! I was not happy about this as one flag has a small hole in it. (The flag is just plastic) Thus the 4 stars instead of 5 stars.

The plastic piece connecting the two part was broken on arrival. Didn't bother to return/get another one of this while that part would brake during use anyways. Get another safety flag, this one is just poorly designed.

This flag is poorly designed. I purchased two of them, and both are already broken after only a couple of uses. The clear plastic connector that holds the two parts together cracked on both. Also, the way the flag attaches to the bike doesn't allow for easy removal when transporting.

Overall I am disappointed in this for the price, its more in line with a $5 item.

First off the flag comes with no directions (not that they are really needed), information (like a tag saying manufactured by, etc etc), or any mounting hardware. Just the bit of metal seen in the picture is all that is included. No screws, 2nd metal clamp to mount to frame if needed, etc etc.

The pole is in 2 parts, and slides right together, I had a feeling the sleeve that holds the two is going to be a problem (its a bit loose) so put a touch of superglue in it just in case.

The mounting turned out to be a bit of a challenge, since the bracket does not line up well with training wheels. I ended up mounting it on the inside of the back wheel (between the hub and the frame). And then put a small nut/bolt in one of the extra slots on the bracket to keep it from sliding around, and a zip tie 3 inches up from the pole to the frame to keep the pole from hitting the wheel.

If this was a $5 item, I would give it another star. But not for $10.

The connector for this is just a piece of flat metal, which is supposed to be screwed in. Even if you have a completely level place to put it which we don't (it won't work on curves) you have to drill holes to use it, which I'm not willing to do. Right now it's zip tied on....but it does the job safety wise. Needs a better connector that will work on curved surfaces without permanently damaging them. Charging more would be fine, at 10 bucks it's a bargain for sure, with a usable connector it'd be worth a lot more.

This product coesvwith no hardware and no instructions whatsoever. I can't figure out where to put it on my recumbent trike nor on my handicapped scooter. If there is a specific application for this it should be noted in the description and some documentation should be included. Fortunately it wasny a costly item but I'm left still needing a flag. I'm not really happy. Caveat emptor!

The product does not come with instructions on how to attach. The joint piece is of low quality and does not allow for easy joining as well as not holding up to wind

I bought 6 flags and put them on all ours and the grandkids bikes .The flag is in two pieces so the bikes are easy to carry on car bike racks
