2.0 out of 5 stars It untightens itself
As the review before me has already stated, this product untightens itself. I used it for 5min and the screw that holds it together actually fell off. 1.0 out of 5 stars Fell Apart, April 22, 2012

I wanted this multi-tool to carry around in a little stash of emergency tools I keep in a pouch on my bike in case I or another bicyclist needs an on-the-go repair. No, I wouldn't race with it. I'm talking about 10 to 20 mile rides with friends.

After about 10 such rides, I started hearing a lot of jingling in the emergency pouch, which is underneath the seat of my road bike. After breifly thinking my bike is falling apart I realize no, the tool has fallen apart. That's inconvenient, but not irreprable. I put all the pieces on my covered porch, and come back to the project in a couple of weeks. At which point I realize the pieces have rusted. I tried some cleaning and reassembly, to no avail. The tool isn't functional, and I ended up recycling the components.

The sides of this tool are plastic, which may not be immediately clear. I'd like to think that maybe if I'd kept it at home instead of riding with it it would have been longer-lived, but I'm hesitant to go there because of the rust. Also, I have a road bike and do all paved, trail riding. The ride is most times smooth enough for me to do without padded shorts, should be smooth enough for a tool to take.
