I have recently purchased this weapon and it is everyhing i wanted it to be. I'm a gun nut and a military lover. If yur like me yull love this. its got a good wieght, very accurate, great fps (hurts) lol. I went to the fleemarket a couple of days ago and i saw the same exact weapon for double the price and the laser sight and the blue led were another 50. so excellent price for what yu get. Its a little fragile so take it easy while handling it. (dont throw it). mounting the laser and led is easy. they give you the screw driver. Overall great weapon

This is a great begginers rifle and has a bunch of neat accesories. Over time the gun stock comes loose, so don't be agressive with it. The Gun has Great velocity, great accuracy and is the best gun i ever owned. I wish it would come with instructions though, because i still can't figure out how to put on the LED (which is blue) and the laser sight. The gun has great fps, (feet per second) and I highly recommend it.

I've had this rifle for about 3 months under heavy usage for indoor skirmishing and so far I have not had one problem with it. I suppose the foregrip can come loose if you continuesly hit the deck with it or if you balance your weight on it, but then again, that will happen to it's real life counter part as well. It's all comes down to taking care of your rifle like you would in real combat situations.

I've modified the spring in the receiver by simply searching for a match in the local hobby stores and managed to get a better speed with an average of 280 fps using .20gram BB's (avg of 10 shots tested with a chronometer). The max accurate distance within a 2 inch radius is about 30 feet after that it loses felocity and accuracy which is the only draw back of this rifle.

I also suggest mounting the laser infront of the foregrip on the rail that way you have an even more accurate spot in a vertical line (at least it's lined up flush with your visor/marker). If you mount it this way your target will be about 3 inches above the laser dot instead of 4 inches to the right.

Another point worth mentioning is that you can get 2 2inch x 5mm screws with hex nuts to firmly affix the foregrip since it has 2 openings for that. Too bad that's not included in the package, but you can those for a few pennies at any good hardware store or hobby shop.

As an airsoft collector I am very satisfied with.

I bought this item like 6 months ago, and its in perfect conditions, the clue to keep this gun like that is to treat it like a real gun, the only thing i found bad is that it is not fully auto, but its a great gun, i have played with it 3 battles and only the strap broke, but it can be easily repaired, the problem is that the hooks are a bit weak but you can replace them with stonger ones like I did. Great for beginners as for advanced users.

LETS START BY CLEARING UP A LITTLE MISTAKE WITH THE TITLE OF THIS WEAPON. THOUGH THE NAME STATES M16-A4, THIS IS ACTUALLY A REPLICA M-4A1 CARBINE. I WAS A SECOND LIEUTENANT IN THE US ARMY AND I WILL SAY THAT THE M16A4 IS ABOUT A FOOT LONGER WITH A SOLID STOCK AND A LONGER HEAT SHEILD. NOW THAT THAT'S OUT OF THE WAY... THE WELL M16-A4 AIRSOFT RIFLE IS AN EXCELLENT WEAPON OVERALL, BUT AS WITH MOST PRODUCTS IT DOES HAVE IT'S SHORTCOMINGS. HAVING READ SOME OF THE OTHER REVIEWS, I AM SURPRISED TO SEE THAT PEOPLE HAVE DAMAGED THEIR WEAPON. I HAVE USED MY AIRSOFT WEAPON FOR ABOUT A YEAR AND A HALF IN ABOUT 40 OR SO DIFFERENT MATCHES, AND I HAVE NEVER HAD THE KIND OF PROBLEM INDICATED BY THE REVIEW POSTED ON THE 28TH OF DECEMBER. IF YOU ABUSE ANY WEAPON IT WILL FAIL. IT'S NOT A BATTERING RAM OR A BASEBALL BAT, AND IF THAT'S HOW YOU USE IT THEN YOU SHOULDN'T BE SURPRISED WHEN IT BREAKS. THE WEAPON ITSELF IS QUITE STURDY FOR THE PRICE. I WOULD LIKE TO STRESS THAT IT IS NOT THE BEST IDEA TO ATTATCH THE FLASHLIGHT OR THE FOREGRIP TO THE RIS RAILS. THE FOREGRIP IS PRESENT ON THE REAL WEAPON BECAUSE THE M-4'S BARRELL BECOMES RATHER HOT AND YOU CAN BURN YOUR HANDS IF YOU ARE HOLDING THE FORWARD RECIVER. SINCE THIS ISN'T A PROBLEM WITH AIRSOFT JUST LEAVE THE FOREGRIP ALONE. THE FLASHLIGHT IS A PAQ-4 LASER SIGHT IMITATION AND DOES NOT REPRESENT THE ACTUAL DEVICE ACCURATLEY. I SIMPLY REPLACED THE IMITATION DEVICE WITH A REAL PAQ-4 AND IT LOOKS MUCH NICER. AS FOR THE LASER SIGHT, IT'S UP TO YOU. KEEP IN MIND THAT YOU NEED TO HAVE THE FOREGREP ATTATCHED TO USE THE LASER. OVERALL THE DETAIL IS PRETTY ACURATE, ALTHOUGH THE EJECTION PORT DOES NOT OPEN AND THERE IS NO CARTRIDGE CASE DEFLECTOR ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE. THE WEAPON WILL GROUP SHOTS INTO THE SIZE OF A QUARTER FROM ABOUT 30 FEET, AND A MAN SIZED TARGET CAN BE HIT FROM 30 TO ABOUT 100 FEET. THE WEAPON ITSELF IS EXACTLY THE SAME SIZE AS IT'S REAL LIFE COUNTERPART (I KNOW CAUSE I COMPARED THE TWO SIDE BY SIDE) AND CARE SOULD BE TAKEN SO THAT IT IS NOT MISTAKEN FOR THE REAL WEAPON. IF YOU REALLY WANT TO, THE M9 OR M7 BAYONET WILL FIT SNUGLY ON THE MOUNT LUG, BUT I WOULD ADVISE THAT IT ONLY BE USED FOR DISPLAY IN THIS INSTANCE. TREAT THIS PRODUCT THE SAME WAY YOU WOULD TREAT IT'S REAL LIFE COUNTERPART, THAT IS WITH CARE. FOR A 40 DOLLAR WEAPON IT IS SURPRISINGLY STURDY, AND I WOULD SAY THAT IS AN EXCELLENT ENTRY LEVEL AIRSOFT RIFLE FOR THOSE WHO ARE UNWILLING TO PURCHASE THE 300 DOLLAR RIFLES. IF YOU WANT THE STURDIEST WEAPONS YOU CAN FIND, CLASSIC ARMY AND TOKYO MAURI WEAPONS ARE MADE USING THE HOLLOWED OUT FRAMES FROM THE ACTUAL WEAPONS THEY RESEMBLE. IT'S UP TO YOU. DONT SHOOT AT A PERSON'S HEAD IF YOU CAN HELP IT. STAY SAFE AND I HOPE I WAS ABLE TO HELP YOU.

A while back a friend of mine purchased this same gun on ebay, he paid a couple bucks more for it but anyways this gun is a must have. If you want an accurate and powerful gun then this is something you have been searching for. Also the gun is in a 1:1 scale and dont let the LED and laser sight bring this review down on all and i mean all airsoft guns only about 1 in 10 the lights are acctually effective. For the money this is a great gun and if Amazon doesnt mind (hopefully) ive got another one ive purchased from ebay its the M4 S system this is in a sellers store and shoots about 340fps with .2 gram pellets and 360fps with .12 pellets this gun is by the same maker as the M16-A4 (Well) and as you may find well guns are all clones but all airsoft guns are clones you can hardly find an original
*by the way the M16-A4 shoots 280-300fps depending on bullet size and conditions
*the M4 I have purchased surpasses this gun by far
and for those of you who bring down the M16-A4 just because your disappointed its not semi. or fully automatic...... look at the specs retards, spring guns are all single shots which need to be cocked EVERY shot *only battery and gas guns are semi. and fully automatic but these require alot more care* . Also on that matter do some research but you wont find much of a bargain as this. If you dont want to spend alot of money then this is the gun for you and you wont be disappointed (take in mind that like all things from china there is a percentage of defective merchandice just send it back and hope for a better one).
And for the morons who throw/purposly drop/hit the gun on something shouldnt bring the review down IT WAS YOUR FAULT GET OVER IT... its plastic you treat it well it will perform. hope this review was helpfull and lubing a gun never hurts it ---hint,hint---

This gun Rocks! It has awesme range and accuracy. It serves as a great begginer gun and is still great when you become an even better airofter

My grandson and I surfed through Amazon's website, from very remote locations, and this airsoft rifle is the one he wanted. It arrived on time, in perfect order, and according to my grandson, it's awesome!

when i got this gun i was amazed how well it worked. It is accurate you just have to have .20 gram bullets instead of the 6mm the grip does ware off from use, but nothin a little duct tape cant do. The LED lights work and the laser sight work. It is very powerful, i think it has strong plastic. Over all its a good begginer gun and its very realistic.
