This review is from: M2/M3 Half-Track - Armor Walk Around No. 4 (Paperback)
A useful shoot around for model building reference. The photos are basic, but good enough to see the details missing from the model kit.

This review is from: M2/M3 Half-Track - Armor Walk Around No. 4 (Paperback)
Long before the M2/M3 Bradley IFV, there was the M2/M3 half track. First built in 1940, over 41,000 of these infantry carriers were built. Many were modified to carry mortars, Anti Aircraft guns, ambulances, etc. This Walk Around book gives you 78 pages of b&w,color photos, line drawings and 3 pages of color plates (most of the photos are color). The color photos are of museum quality restored vehicles from every angle. Engine, interior, hull, track, chasis, weapons carried are all shown to great effect here. Perfect book for modelers, armor buffs. Other books such as Richard Hunnicutt's book are more elaborate on the text & details (and 5x more expensive) but this is an excellent collection of photos. Definately glad I bought this, I enjoy seeing these photos and captions very much.
