Product Description

The MIO Motion Fit is programmable with your own personal data, making it individually yours. This watch uses Smart Touch Technology to provide your EKG-accurate heart rate with a single touch to the sensor and frees you from wearing an uncomfortable chest strap. It’s always with you counting your steps and recording your speed, distance and calories burned.

I bought this watch to cont calories burn and to measure my steps,(miles and so on) It doesn’t count calories burned, and I do not like it at all.

I should have sent it back immediately, but chose to sleep on it and try and follow the directions instead.

Well, quite honestly, it didn't do the things it said it would do. Walking 10 or so steps did not turn on the pedometer and even with plugging in my info, to include my step distance, when I counted my steps, it didn't calculate near to the actual total. (I walked 500 steps, usual pace and it barely calculated 100) twice and it wouldn't turn on. I am a larger frame female and didn't think the petite would fit me but when buying the normal one, it appears maybe I could have gone with the petite as this one was huge on me. (I'm 6' 187 lbs, fit) I am sending it back. The order was timely and hopefully the return process will be user friendly and quick and painless and I would purchase another one, if it did what it said it would do.

I've had this model or at least its predecessor twice in the past. Both lasted a really long time and it's one of the few that is not overly complicated to set.

One minor flaw (could be a major flaw for some people) The beep alarm TOO WEAK! They need to up the volume. that's why it's called an "alarm"

I like this but my only complaint is that the buttons were a little confusing until I played with it for awhile. Seems to work great so far.

I bought this watch to keep track of my heart rate while cycling. I'm just getting started, so I wanted something that was simple, yet would keep track of heart rate zones. I cannot get the watch to consistently even read my heart rate, let alone get it to function while I'm on a ride. I've read the instructions several times and done what they say, but the watch does not respond the same each time. And the readings are not always accurate, as I will get my heart rate the old fashioned way when I suspect it is misreading something. Usually, though, it does not give me a reading at all. It simply beeps and returns to telling time. When the package arrived, I suspected that it had been opened before. I should have sent it back immediately, but chose to sleep on it and try and follow the directions instead. Buyer's Remorse.

Wonderful device, but was not practical for taking a pulse while running. You have to touch the watch for up to 15 seconds before getting a reading. For my 79 year old dad who walks two miles a day on a treadmill, a finger pulse ox/pulse rate monitor was the better fit for his needs.
