It has to be called "The Applications Bible" of 68HC11.
This book has everything I need to finish my thesis work "The 68HC11 Board - MOROCHA". It has applications hints, projects examples, in a way that even my little brother can understand. I suggest it to every person that deals with this monster "The MC68HC11"... :)
